Nemo Helio Pressure Shower

I’m constantly using a water bottle to clean up after myself while out and about. Whether sweaty legs caked in summertime trail dust or blood stained forearms from successful autumn hunts, there’s always an awkward move which involves cupping one hand and splashing water to clean whatever needs attention before getting back in the truck.

To any adventurers looking for the convenience of a sink or shower where there’s never been one, I have great news…The Nemo Helio Pressure Shower is here! A durable, 3 gallon mobile shower featuring a clear top, sealed seams and a sponge-filled foot bellow for pressurizing. The bag itself is black, so you’ll have hot water if it’s sunny. A no frills design makes this simple, yet brilliant. To use fill it with water, press the foot pump and use the sprayer to enjoy a steady stream of flowing water. Don’t expect it to feel just like home, but there’s certainly enough pressure to wash your hair & body. In addition to legitimate mobile-showering capabilities, you’ll find all kinds of other uses for it. Wash dishes, rinse fishing gear and cooler tops after cleaning fish, clear the sand & salt from a day at the beach, use it on your dog. Guides, give your patrons a means to wash up prior to mealtime, and don’t expect your careful forethought to go unnoticed.

In an age where new gizmos seem to be popping up daily, everyone’s claiming to make life simpler.  Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of weird, hype-filled products out there which don’t do what they say. Here though, you’ll be glad to find a tremendously useful tool for real, repeated use. In keeping with their mantra: “Design like you give a damn”, Nemo has a real winner here. The other details:

Capacity: 2.9 Gallons

Min Weight: 22 oz

Runtime: 5 – 7 mins

Hose length: 7 ft.

The price is $100, backed by Nemo’s lifetime warranty against defects or workmanship.

You can buy them online, but if you’re in Grand Rapids, head over to Bill and Paul’s and pick one up. My family’s heading up north to camp in a few weeks. You can bet ours will be coming along. A big thanks to Kate and the rest of our friends over at Nemo for sending.
